Fish Sampling with Active Methods Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic, 8-11 September 2010 The main aim of the meeting is to summarize the progress in using active netting gear, such as trawls, beach and purse seines for the population estimates. Special attention will be paid to the limitations, selectivity, efficiency and standardization of active sampling gear.
