Aquaculture International (AQUI), our scientific journal is planning a new section called “Perspectives”. This contains short papers that describe in which direction a particular area of research is likely to develop. Knowing that writing articles is time consuming we are encouraging EAS members and others to send available text that would be more or less ready for publishing. “The state of the art and progress beyond” as required by FP7 or other project proposals could be ideal for that.
